Ralph Swaine

Ralph Swaine (Barrister, Solicitor, and Notary Public) (Retired) Ralph Swaine has practiced Civil Litigation continuously since his call to the bar in 1980 until End of 2019. Ralph graduated from Carleton University with a B.A. with Distinction in 1975. He received his LL.B. from McGill University in 1978.

Ralph has over 30 years of experience handling civil litigation matters. He has handled files for both individual and corporate clients, including several large financial institutions. His cases have included collection files, contract disputes, insurance litigation, construction liens, wrongful dismissal and contested estates. His years of experience allow him to quickly identify the issues and solutions to disputes that arise in civil litigation matters. Ralph has been counsel of record in over 30 reported cases before Ontario courts, and has appeared before all levels of the Superior Court of Justice, both at trial and appellate levels. He has also appeared before a variety of boards and tribunals, and represented clients in mediations and arbitration hearings.
